Elluse is an independent, artist-led surface design studio based in Manchester.We are centred around the artwork of Helen Jones (Aka Elluse) and a handful of trusted technical makers and print partners. When we say “We”, we mean the studio—Helen and the specialists she collaborates with to get each custom panel, textile roll, and mural made.The studio’s original concepts begin as manual fine art practices, charcoal layouts, and oil paintings before being digitally processed and mastered for architectural scale right here on Elluse.biz.

Helen’s journey wasn’t a straight line. After spending 25 years as an employee in senior designer and developer roles, she nurtured a creative vision—a need for something deeper, more sustainable, and deeply rooted in Manchester’s industrial character.

After being diagnosed with endometriosis, traditional full-time work became increasingly difficult. Instead of scaling back, Helen pushed forward, combining her 25 years of technical hub execution with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art.
Elluse is the result: an independent surface design studio that challenges generic corporate trends and champions custom, statement-driven wallcoverings built with technical precision, creative courage, and environmental integrity.
